Acknowledgement

Since September 2018, the ANCA-WR Education Committee has organized a group of volunteer expert professionals and educators from various disciplines and school districts who have worked to develop a variety of lessons and resources for K- 5 teachers, in order to integrate the Armenian story in their curriculum. Using interactive presentations, teachers are able to facilitate lessons and activities that allow students the opportunity to discover Armenian culture, history, geography, and achievements. Through access to these materials, the Committee aims to support educators who seek to bring about empathy, respect and diversity education in school communities. We give special thanks and recognition to each individual on the team of talented and passionate professionals who have volunteered their time to make a difference for future generations.

ANCA-WR

The Armenian National Committee of America- Western Region (ANCA-WR) is a grassroots public affairs organization devoted to advancing issues of concern to the Armenian American community.

For nearly a century, the ANCA-WR has served to educate, motivate and activate the Armenian American community in the Western United States on a wide range of issues.
